If you read all the self help books it alleys tells you need to network to be successful . This is a notion always sat uneasy with me as you always have an agenda . I can honestly say I never networked in my life , I just prefer to go out and make friends . As if you have the feeling that someone is only friends with for the reason of getting to you or your other friends , it’s not good .

Tokyo is the largest city on the planet and also the smallest as the expat community talks a lot to each other here , people make friends rather than quick contacts .
