Rule nunber 1 : F#ck what people think

One thing that I have realised in life is that the me. who wants to lead the opera must have to turn their backs on their audience.

If everyone likes you, then you have a serious problem, I’m glad my first mentor thought me this .

What I found that being a nice person will never ever do you any good in the long run. As people you are spending your energy and your time will take take take and will end up using you as a foot mat — ignoring and insulting you.

Some things I emphasis to myself :

Be yourself.
One fo The worst mistake one can make in your life is change yourself to fit in with another person’s expectations of you and this is in business , friend and family .

Take control

You only drive your own success , take control
People always say “ you only live once but this isn’t true , you die once you live every day ! “

Keep your circle small
Less drama and less negativity has such a huge impact on your life .
Be humble , show respect but be in control .

It’s okay if people hate you, that’s their choice not yours .
Let them hate. But the key thing here is to ensure that you focus on you and not others negative

Challenge the man to become better

A great quote by Sir Sean Connery , a true mans mans , the quote got me thinking “should a man seek to challenge, or should he simply favor of a life of safety and convenience? “

Simply striving for greatness benefits oneself / society, but one doesn’t wants to feel like they’re being used .

When you pursue a challenge, it is true that sometimes you will fail and I have on many occasions , but the real value is simply found in getting up and try and again , failure is only failure if you stop . If it’s in blood, sweat, and tears you expend in the pursuit of greatness, whether you ever reach your goal or not, will be returned to you in the form of greater strength, virtue, and deep satisfaction.

Humanity has learned more from its mistakes that it has from its success . #manliness #motivation #success #keepgoing

Advice on money : Not what you earn it what you keep !

Advice I learned about $$

Let’s say you make $10,000 a month.

That’s only $120k a Year.

Let’s put 30% aside for Taxes.

That leaves you with $84,000.

Now let’s say you’re feeling RICH ‘cause you’re a 6 figure earner now, right?

So you go and buy yourself a Penthouse condo for $5,000 a month.

That’s $60,000 a Year.

Leaving you with $24,000 left.

But wait.

You’re Rich.

So you GOTTA get yourself a nice ass whip.

A Benz or a Lambo Truck. Something lit.

Let’s say that’s $500/month with good Credit plus throw in another $300 a month for insurance.

$800/Month for your whip.

That’s almost $10,000 a Year.

Leaving you with $14,000 remaining.

Throw in Food. Entertainment. Travels & Other bills such as Phone. Internet. Etc etc etc.

That’s gonna leave you with absolutely no savings left at the end of the year whatsoever.

So Moral of the Story?

It doesn’t matter how much Money you make.

KEEPING your money is key.

Having your money work for you is key

Understanding that trading time for money is not the answer

Understanding that consumerism is not the answer

Understanding that losing the immediate gratification mindset will work immensely in your favor

Don’t live life to impress people on Social Media.

Stack your bread and act broke until you’re ACTUALLY Rich.

THEN go treat yourself if you want to.

If your on a path In pursuing success or a better life many things will crop up to stop you pursuing that .

In my experience one of them is the memory and scars of previous failures.⁣

And the thought comes I failed before what will make this time be any different ? Will I be successful ? ⁣

If you have doubt or negetive thoughts then the answer is you will fail , negetive mind never created a positive outcome

Yes you will try but you’ll expect to fail and so you will fail.⁣

All people who start business have failures and success the way you use them determine who you are and what your future will be like , as you learn from previous mistakes, you’ll get closer and closer to the success you desire.⁣

I never see them as mistakes I see them as lessons

Ones past doesn’t equal your future unless you let it.⁣

Monday morning Make things Happen

To make things happen, you have to be an action taker.

What I seen many people think about doing things, while other people talk about doing things and then there are people that actually do things, they take action.

I have been blessed to have worked and been around a lot of people who have been very, very successful in whatever they do whether that be sport, finance , music, acting, business, law, politics .

Personally I see that there one thing in common with successful people , they are action takers, who are very focused on their goals, work extremely hard, but most important of all they are passionate about what they do.

It is this passion about what you do, which I believe is the most important quality you need to have success in life and makes things happen,
It is passion that drives you everyday to do the things you need to do each and everyday to make things happen.

It is passion that keeps one going when things are going wrong all around you, everything seems to be conspiring against you and you feel like giving up.

Your passion will not let you give up, it is what keeps you going it’s what makes you succeed .

To be successful in whatever you are doing in life you need to be passionate about it and I mean really passionate about it, not just like something.
It has to be part of you.

Motivation Monday

There is no time like the present.
To fulfill our role as entrepreneurs/ individuals requires us to “seize the moment” and begin the difficult process of change.
Right now!

We all have Problems and difficulties and they don’t go away or solve themselves by negligence; they tend to only get worst.

Im not encourage anyone to make fast decision that has not been well conceived, thought out or planned.

Collect all the facts and analyze the need for change before lurching into the unknown.

However, when one is convinced and know that change is necessary, it is time to act and begin the process.

Remember that tomorrow is promised to no one. Each day is a gift.
That’s why it’s called the Present 😉

Have a good week

Why The First Step To Succeeding In Anything Is Saying ‘Yes’

Read this and thought it was interesting , but funnily enough I just watched ‘Yes Man ‘ and it was the same kind of concept . Worth a try for some individuals .

Why The First Step To Succeeding In Anything Is Saying ‘Yes’

Every mark of success originates in the same way: answering a question with “yes.” We are presented with opportunities every single day. Whether or not we choose to accept those opportunities and act upon them is a different story. Most people will complain that they never get a break, that things never just fall into their lap, like they seem to for everyone else.

The thing is, nothing just “falls” into anyone’s lap. In order to encounter an opportunity, you must seek it out. There are two steps to attracting opportunities: The first step is to find and recognize an opportunity when one presents itself, and the second is to say “yes.” If you don’t say yes and take proactive action, you’ll never get anywhere in life.

Opportunities come in the form of persons. It’s not like your dream job will come knocking on your door; dreams don’t have fists. Only people can present you with opportunities. For this reason, we have to maximize the efficiency of our interactions with other people. You will need to meet new people because new people are much more likely to present you with opportunities than the people you come across on a regular basis.

Sure, the people you know may present you with opportunities from time to time, but the fastest way to stumble upon fresh opportunity is to expand your network. Before you go out and start introducing yourself to every person you meet — which may actually be quite fun — I recommend talking to the right people.

What makes someone the right person to approach depends on the type of opportunity you are looking for. If you are looking for a job in a certain field — say, the medical field — then you’d be best off going to places and events where you can mingle with doctors.

If you are looking for a relationship, go to places where you are most likely to find single people also looking to be in a relationship — Google it and you’ll find more than enough places to meet your future husband. Go to places that focus on the things you enjoy, like museums, bookstores, clothing stores, the park…

You are most likely to land the right opportunity going to places where you’re most likely to find good opportunities. Why do you think people go to Ivy League schools? It’s not for the education; it’s for the networking.

Recognizing an opportunity is not as simple as it sounds, unfortunately. It can be very difficult to figure out what is a great chance to make progress in your life or career and what is most likely a waste of time. It’s impossible to know what the future holds in any given circumstance, so trying to recognize an opportunity for what it is near impossible. The only thing you can do is give it your best guess. If you think something may lead to a great opportunity, then take the leap of faith and go after it. In order to do this, you have to do what many people find to be the most difficult step in finding opportunity: saying yes.

Opportunities aren’t so much found as they are created. You create the possibility for opportunity every time you say yes to a request. For example, I landed my job with Elite Daily because I said yes to a friend of mine when he asked me to go out for drinks. I ended up meeting a certain Mr. Cuffin, and then, a week later, I’m at the Elite Daily headquarters.

One year later and I’ve written several articles that have received hundreds of thousands of shares. Because I was given the opportunity to work with Elite, I was also able to introduce myself to the right people.

Now, I’m launching my own startup: lilHub. All of this opportunity presented itself and led to my success, only because I said yes. I said yes to something that did not present itself as an opportunity, at all; it was just a fun night out. If it weren’t for that one “yes,” you wouldn’t be reading this article and I wouldn’t be living my dream. I’ll be honest with you, my initial response was to say no and stay home; I needed a little convincing.

We will often say no instead of yes as a result of our fears or our laziness. No, we don’t want to go out because we’re too tired. No, we don’t want to quit our jobs and start our own company because we’re afraid we’ll fail. No, we don’t want to see her again because we’re not very good with commitment and she seems like a girl that we may end up falling for. It’s illogical. Of course, sometimes it is better to say no. Unfortunately, there’s no way of knowing until after the fact.

My advice is to say yes as often as you can in order to maximize the possibility of a great opportunity presenting itself. Only say no when you truly believe you will be better off saying no. You may not be right, but we literally can’t say yes to everything because we’ll spread ourselves too thin.
