Executive Fight Night III “Triple Thunder” Fight 5
Case “The Ace” Grant vs. Hideki “Genie” Izutsu
Fast Fists

Fight 5 was a flury of fists as Case “The Ace” Grant, weighing in at 68.5 kilograms faced off with Hideki “Genie” Izutsu. With a ten-year age gap between the two fighters, Grant had the “youth” advantage over Izutsu.

However both fighters were in the zone and while Grant kept at the “Genie” with fast jabbing action Izutsu was quick on his feet. Round 2, Izutsu took a lot of hits to the face but waved off the countdown.

In the end “The Ace” takes the victory by TKO in round 2.

Tatsuya “Marriage-Oriented Fighter” Tomiyasu vs. Aaron “Soul-Train” McCain
Corporate Knock-Out

BNP Paribas, JGB trader Tomiyasu meets CBRE, Project Manager McCain for fight two of the corporate knock-outs at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom on Friday (November 8). Tatsuya “Marriage-Oriented Fighter” Tomiyasu and Aaron “Soul-Train” McCain both told media beforehand that they were confident to win, however in the end it was McCain that took home the glory in EFN’s first ever knock-out.

From round 1 the ballroom brawl was on, early on McCain had Tomiyasu trapped in the corner but by round 2 the Japanese fighter came back, attacking the body as the American McCain did his best to duck out.

Both fighters began to feel the wear and tear of the fight and just when both were looking tired, McCain began slugging with renewed force knocking Tomiyasu down to the ground hard for a knock-out.

Aaron “Soul-Train” McCain was also the glitzy event’s overall winner for the evening as well.

Tony Evans & deVere Group Executive Fight Night III “Triple Thunder” Fight 1 – Redemption Round VIDEO

Executive Fight Night III “Triple Thunder” Fight 1
Yusuke “Re-heated Miso Soup” vs. Toyama Mirhat “Ice Cold” Alykulov
Redemption Round

When ice meets the heat, only one can win. In an EFN special ‘Redemption Round’ two fighters had the chance to re-try their luck in the ring at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom on Friday (November 8). Mirhat “Ice Cold” Alykulov, formerly known as ‘Angry Teddy Bear’ battled Yusuke “Re-Heated Miso Soup” for guts and glory.

Kicking off the night in fight 1, round 1 Yusuke came with full force going in hard after Mirahat, but the 30-year-old broker didn’t back down and came back landing hard punches to Toyama’s face. By round 2 both men had found their rhythm and were on equal footing but began looking sluggish as the clock counted down the last 30 seconds. After a brief rest the fighters were back for round 3, both taking hard hits to the face with Yusuke eventually overpowering, jabbing in rapid fire succession and knocking Mirahat to the ground. While “Ice Cold” got right back up, and began reaching more with his straight he lacked the power to land the hard hits.

Final score by unanimous decision, Yusuke “Re-Heated Miso Soup” Toyama took the title and the Magnum of Moet champagne.
